Ayurveda Consultations: Advice for Healthy and Balanced Life


Ayurveda, meaning the "Science of Life" (Ayur = life, Veda = science). Ayurveda is to stay in good health by focusing on prevention. Ayurveda is an empower individuals with lifestyle modification and routines to restore natural balance but not limited to, diet, sleep, exercise, daily routines, and yoga.

The Five Basics Elements in Nature also exist in our own bodies, Air, Ether, Water, Fire and Earth and Air. 

The two main guiding principles of Ayurveda are:
  1. The mind and the body are completely connected, 
  2. Nothing has more power to heal and transform the body than the mind.

Ayurveda and Yoga Consultation


During our Ayurveda consultations, we discuss your current state of health, your concerns, and goals. I will take a complete health history and ask you lots of questions, which may seem unrelated but are helpful. I will assess, provide insight and recommendations. You finish your session with a treatment plan, guidance, and encouragement on how to continue on your own. I try hard to educate and empower you to make the best choices for optimum health and wellness so you can live vibrantly healthy, naturally.

Ayurveda looks at the individual - physically, mentally and spiritually to give you an in-depth understanding of your unique self and what makes you, you. Ayurveda and Yoga, both are very ancient healing systems. Both have roots in Vedic philosophy and help to achieve a wholesome happy life. Yoga is a union of the lower self with the higher self. The goals of Yoga and Ayurveda are the same; Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha. In order to achieve all four pillars of light, a person must have a healthy body, mind, prana, and consciousness. These can be achieved by combining Ayurveda and Yoga.

Initial Intake Consultation


At the consultation, your therapist will ask you to fill out an intake form that you will talk about together. Can tell you about your innate constitution, which dosha may be out of balance, how to bring balance back to your body and mind, and self-care practices specific to your constitution that will help you feel better and live better. You will be offered during our initial consultation for daily self-care that may include Sleep, yoga, diet, daily routines, relaxation techniques, exercise, and mindfulness practices.
